CVPDO CASEs

The Concho Valley Public Defender’s Office (“CVPDO”) is a centralized defense service in a single office. The CVPDO will represent the accused in various courts after the court determined the accused is indigent and the accused requested the appointment of counsel. The CVPDO will take appointments for felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, and appeals cases.

  • The CVPDO represents adults who are accused of committing a misdemeanor or a felony in Coke, Concho, Irion, Schleicher, Sterling, Tom Green, or Runnels counties. The CVPDO will neither be appointed to death penalty cases nor Class C misdemeanor cases.

  • The CVPDO represents juveniles accused of a misdemeanor or a felony. Juveniles are children from ten (10) to sixteen (16) years old.
